Some locations can be super crowded.  While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature?  Did you go to a fair on your first date?  While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

discovering orange county engagement locations:

SANTA ANA TRAIN STATION

There are many “types” of locations to consider for your engagement photo session that you can choose from. One of our favorites are the urban areas that the southland has to offer. From there, choose something unique to you and you’ll have a recipe for some beautiful photography. Santa Ana Train Station engagement photography by Three16 Photography will provide you beautiful photos that will last a lifetime.

The Santa Ana Train Station is more commonly called the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center or SARTC, but is more known as simply, The Depot. It is designed with that Mediterranean-style feel to it that showcases a 3-tiered fountain, a 5-story theme tower, a 3-story domed ceiling that is translucent, a beautiful rotunda as you enter the building and gorgeous stairways.

Sitting on seven acres of land, this 47,000-square-foot also features Spanish-style lighting, outdoor stairways, observation decks and patios. The exterior landscaping is spectacular and really sets the tone as backdrops to your photos.

If you opt for this location for your photo session, keep in mind is that the Santa Ana Train Station is a working station and is fully operational, so you should expect many people coming and going, which could lead to having them in some of the backgrounds of your photos, not to mention on-lookers.

If time permits for a second location, we could take advantage of the uniqueness that the Santa Ana Historic District offers, which begins less than a mile from the train station.

So, if you are looking for something really different and unique, you might want to consider the Santa Ana Train Station.
