Your outfit should reflect you personality.  Maybe you want to dress for an adventure or maybe you want to go formal.  Consider how your attire can fit with your session location.

Some locations can be super crowded.  While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature?  Did you go to a fair on your first date?  While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

discovering orange county engagement locations:

TRI-CITY PARK

Outside to the locals in North Orange County, there is a park that serves as an ideal location for your engagement photo session. With its plentiful of trees, the park has just enough of that “nature” feel to it, and yet still be a park for all ages. A Tri-City Park engagement photo shoot in Placentia by Three16 Photography will deliver you beautiful photos to be enjoyed for a lifetime.

Although the park’s 40 acres is in Placentia, the city of Fullerton buts up against it and Brea is close enough to bring the three communities together, thus the “Tri” in Tri-City Park. There is a 0.7-mile walking/biking trail that loops around an 8-acre lake that sits right in the middle of the walking loop. The trail is cement but does have a couple small wooden bridges to cross over. The bridges always make photos standout.

The lake, which has been named as an Orange County Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, is the star of the park and using it as a backdrop to your photos, will really enhance the final outcome. Hold your session around sunset and the sun’s rays reflect off the lake and you have pure perfection.

One of the pros and cons of this location has to do with birdlife. The pro is that Tri-City Park is a wildlife sanctuary and is a great place to capture a lot of birds in your shots. The downsize is the duck and geese can get pretty aggressive in their search for food. If we ignore them, they typically will ignore us.

If time permits to include an additional location, not far from Tri-City Park is the Carbon Canyon Regional Park or we can head to the Richard Nixon Library or the Fullerton Arboretum that is located on the campus of California State at Fullerton.
